Brinker Charity Golf Classic Raises $150,000.00 for Junior Golf Foundation

The Brinker Charity Golf Classic was conducted on October 26 at Stonebriar Country Club. The fund-raising event benefited three local charities; The Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and the Kenny Can Foundation. The event was conducted by the management team at Brinker International and the Northern Texas PGA served as an event consultant.

A total of 63 teams of four amateurs competed in the rain shortened fund-raising golf tournament. Despite the adverse weather conditions, the event raised $450,000.00. Each charity was presented with $150,000.00 at a check presentation ceremony on December 11.

"Brinker International is a very special company with visionary leadership. Their commitment to give back to the communities that they serve is truly amazing," said Darrell Crall. "We know there are thousands of deserving charities in our community that the Brinker team could have partnered with on this event and we are truly humbled and honored that our Foundation was selected as one of the beneficiaries of the event this year."
