NTPGA Welcomes Back Dave Anderson

The Northern Texas PGA is pleased to announce the hiring of Dave Anderson as the Director of Operations.  Anderson began with the Section on Thursday, September 28.  To many of you his name might be familiar as he interned and worked for the Section more than a decade ago. 

Dave has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dakota State University and also a MBA from Arizona State University. Upon graduation from Dakota State he served in the United States Air Force from 1997 to 2000 and was an USAF Reservist from 2000 to 2005. He interned with the NTPGA in 2002 and was hired in 2003 and worked his way up to Director of Junior Golf Operations before accepting the job as Executive Director of the Legends Junior Tour from 2007 to 2009. For the past eight years he has been working in fundraising and development with various universities and high schools. Most recently, he was the Director of Development at Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas. 

He has a great balance of golf administration (7 years) and fundraising (8 years) and will be an integral part of our team for many years to come. Anderson will primarily oversee our Junior Tour and Player Development Departments and will assist greatly in fundraising.

Dave and his wife Molly, who is an elementary school teacher, live in Frisco and have two kids, Brooks who is 7 and Presley who is 5.
