PGA TOUR's Martin Flores Makes Donation to Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation

June 16th, 2017

Dallas, Texas – PGA TOUR professional and Fort Worth native, Martin Flores, continues his support of the NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation in 2017 by providing 60 NTPGA Junior Tour memberships to First Tee programs in North Texas and supporting the All American Tour as the namesake of the Martin Flores DAC Open that was conducted at Dallas Athletic Club on June 12-13. This is the third consecutive year that Flores has supported the NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation.

The Martin Flores DAC Junior Open was a 36-hole, nationally-ranked competition that hosted some of the most talented junior golfers in the state.  The event was played on the Gold Course at Dallas Athletic Club.

“I was very fortunate as a kid to have a place like the NTPGA to play and I think that helped my development as player and helped me to be where I am right now,” said Flores.  “I know what it’s like to want to play in college or professionally, and I always think it’s important to help out our next generation.  Also, I love to see the development of kids; how they practice, how they play, continue to get better and strive for their goals.  I love to be a part of that.”

“Martin is one of the many former NTPGA Junior Tour members who have gone on to have great success, and we are so proud of him,” said Mark Harrison, Executive Director / CEO of the Northern Texas PGA. “It is an honor to have him support our Junior Tour and provide access to the game for so many aspiring junior golfers.”
