The Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation is pleased to continue its charitable commitment to educational services through its Scholarship Program. In 2016, 21 scholarships totaling $105,000 will be awarded - the most ever by the Foundation.

Birdies for Kids Scholarship ($5,000)

Briggs Berry Heart of a Lion Scholarship ($5,000)

The application deadline has expired for 2016 scholarships.
Applicants MUST be a 2015 and/or 2016 member of the NTPGA Junior Tour. The involvement or achievement in the Junior Tour tournament program is not part of the selection criteria.
Applicants must have completed (or plan to complete) high school prior to August 1, 2016 and have enrolled (or plan to enroll) in an accredited college or university in the fall of 2016. Finalists will be asked to take part in a formal interview process with the Scholarship Committee on a specific date either April or May.

Established in 1986, the program provides college scholarships for children and grandchildren of PGA members. It encourages and promotes the attainment of higher educational goals for the children and grandchildren of PGA members, based on evidence of a high level of academic achievement during high school or college. Since its inception, some $6.1 million in scholarships have been awarded to nearly 3,000 students. Last year, this program awarded 128 scholarships totaling $301,000.
