The 14th annual Ewing Charity Classic, a fundraising golf tournament benefitting the NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation, was held at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth on Monday, November 30. This year's event raised $117,500.00.
The event honored 2010 Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin, and featured 14 teams consisting of three amateurs, a PGA TOUR player and a PGA Professional. Pavin was joined by fellow past and present PGA TOUR stars including Tommy Armour III, Mark Brooks, Chad Campbell, Charles Coody, Kris Cox, Harrison Frazar, Craig Lile, Bruce Lietzke, Ryan Palmer, John Rollins, Jason Schultz, Wes Short, and Lanny Wadkins.
Professionals Chad Campbell and Mike Wright teamed with amateurs Frank Borgsmiller, Dohn Berger and Steve Pierson to card an 8 under-par total of 132 to capture the Ewing Charity Classic.
