Qualifying:

The 34th Texas Joe Black Cup Matches will be conducted on October 26-28 at The Vaquero Club in Westlake. The team will be comprised of the following professionals:

  1. The top nine (9) A-1, A-4 or A-13 professionals on the NTPGA Player of the Year Points Standings.
  2. The top senior professional on the Senior Joe Black Cup points list regardless of classification.
  3. One (1) captain's selection of a A-1, A-4 or A-13 professional.
  4. The current Section President (Paul Earnest).

2014 Stroke Average Events:

The Ben Hogan / NTPGA Stroke Play Scoring Average Award is presented to the Section Member compiling the lowest overall adjusted scoring average in the Open Division for these events: Eastern Championship, Western Championship, NTPGA Professional Championship and Section Championship.  There are a total of eight (8) possible rounds to be played.  All players must complete a minimum of six (6) rounds to be eligible for the Award.  Each player’s adjusted scoring average is determined by totaling the stroke averages according to par (+/-), dividing this total by the number of completed rounds, and adding this final number to 72.
