Exemptions:
The top 4 professionals following the Section Championship will earn an invitation to compete in the Jani-King Match Play Championship on October 21-13 at The Vaquero Club.

Qualifying:

The 33rd Texas Joe Black Cup Matches will be conducted on October 27-29 at Royal Oaks Country Club in Houston. The team will be comprised of the following professionals:

1. The top nine (9) A-1, A-4 or A-13 professionals on the NTPGA Player of the Year Points Standings.
2. The top one (1) senior professional on the NTPGA Player of the Year Points Standings regardless of classification.
3. One (1) captain's selection of a A-1, A-4 or A-13 professional.
4. The current Section President (Philip Bleakney).

Qualifying:
