Members Running for Leadership Positions

Candidate for President

IRA MOLAYO

Director of Golf

Cedar Crest Golf Course

Elected to Membership: 2007

PGA Member in Section Since: 2007

Ira currently serves as the Section's Vice President. He says, "I’m running for election because I believe deeply in service to our Members and in the role the PGA plays in strengthening our profession and our communities. Golf has given me opportunities I never imagined, and I feel a responsibility to give back in a meaningful way.

Having served on the Board and as an officer, I understand the importance of listening, consistency, and clear communication. My goal is to represent all Members across facilities, roles, and backgrounds and to support our staff and volunteers who do exceptional work every day.

I’m not running to change everything, but to build on the strong foundation already in place, to be accessible, and to help the Section continue moving forward together. I believe leadership is about showing up, doing the work, and making people feel heard, and that’s the approach I intend to bring to this role."

Candidate for Vice President

JEREMY LANGDALE

Elected to Membership: 2011

PGA Member in Section Since: 2011

Jeremy is running because, "This game has given me everything and I want to continue to give back to the game along with those who work to make it so great.

Our Section has made many great strides over the past 15 years, but we can not stop moving forward.  We need to focus on our professionals, both existing and future, to ensure the NTPGA is the benchmark."

Candidate for Secretary

ERIC HUNT

Director of Golf

Grapevine Golf Course

Elected to Membership: 2015

PGA Member in Section Since: 2015

Eric says that he is running for office because, "Ever since I could remember, I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself. I have done this by helping my fellow golf professionals in many different facets, which has given me great joy.  We are here to serve the member, grow the game and positively impact lives through golf, and this is why I am running for Secretary of this great Section."

Candidates for At-Large Directors

TRISH HOLT

Head Professional

Fields Ranch at PGA Frisco

Elected to Membership: 2019

PGA Member in Section Since: 2019

Trish is running to continue on as an At-Large Director. When asked why, she answered, "I am running for At-Large Director of the Northern Texas PGA Section with the passion to continue serving an Association that has given me so much professionally and personally. My past two years on the Board have been both valuable and fulfilling, deepening my understanding of our Section’s mission and the responsibility we share in supporting our Members.

Through my role as Head Golf Professional at PGA Frisco, I am actively engaged with the PGA of America and committed to advancing the profession and the Association at every level. I also believe I offer a meaningful perspective that reflects our evolving Membership, helping ensure all voices feel represented and heard while supporting initiatives that strengthen our vision and purpose.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and feel a genuine responsibility to contribute thoughtfully on behalf of my fellow NTPGA Professionals in pursuit of our mission to "be good to the game and give back."

NEIL LOCKIE

Director of Golf

Dallas National Golf Club

Elected to Membership: 2009

PGA Member in Section Since: 2019

Neil is running for another term as an At-Large Director on the Board because, "While I was still an Associate working towards membership in South Florida, I put my name forward for a spot on the SE Chapter Assistants Committee. For over 20 years now, I have continued to serve the Section or Chapter. Service at this level has been a huge part of my career, and I hope I have made a positive impact along the way. I believe as I have grown as a Professional, the experiences and tenure I have had within Section Governance allow me to serve as a more valuable asset. I love being involved, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to give back and I always learn something new with each endeavor. I look forward to the continued opportunity to contribute to the success of the Section and our fellow Professionals."
