NTPGA Welcomes Alyssa Richardson
The Northern Texas PGA is excited to announce that Alyssa Richardson has been hired as the Coordinator of Player Development & Community Golf. Alyssa is from Lantana, Texas and graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business Administration.
She is no stranger to the game of golf. Alyssa played competitively all throughout her high school years and continued her passion for the game at the collegiate level, playing all four years at Southwestern College.
Alyssa has worked with the NTPGA in several different capacities over the past two years. She worked as an administrative intern and summer camp instructor during the summer of 2014. In 2015, she served as a summer office intern and then worked as a tournament operations intern in the fall.
As Coordinator of Player Development & Community Golf, Alyssa's key responsibilities will be to oversee the Junior Golf Foundation's summer golf camp and scholarship programs, as well as to assist with the Fairway to Success program. She will also be managing the summer fundraising event Kids Play FORE Kids.
Alyssa is the tenth former NTPGA intern now on the NTPGA's full-time staff of 13. Her first day was Monday, February 15.
