PGA Jr. League #GameChanger Award Winners Honored at 2025 PGA Show

At this year's PGA Show, eight Northern Texas PGA Members and Associates were recognized as #GameChanger Award recipients! The #GameChanger Awards celebrate PGA Jr. League Coaches who go above and beyond to grow the game. The awards honor the 25 largest PGA Jr. League programs in the country as well as the largest programs in each of the 41 PGA of America Sections.
The ceremony at the PGA SHOW highlighted the efforts of PGA and LPGA Professionals who are leading the way for youth to enjoy and learn the game of golf.

144 PGA Jr. League coaches received #GameChanger Awards. Awards were distributed in three different categories, based on program size and Player Engagement criteria, including recognition for the 25 largest PGA Jr. League programs in the country.
The following NTPGA members and associates were honored as PGA Jr. League #GameChanger award recipients in the Player Engagement category.:
- Charleton Dechert - First Tee of Fort Worth
- Joey Anders - Brookhaven Country Club
- Travis Lynch - The Trails of Frisco Golf Club
- Ryan Hitt - PGA Coaching Center
- Cliff Mishler - The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch (Hills Course)
- Brian McCloy - The Resort Golf Club
- Scott Robbins - Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
- Steven Storey - The Golf Club at Fossil Creek
Special recognition is due for Charleton Dechert. For the fifth year, he and the team at the First Tee of Fort Worth finished in the top 25 largest programs nationally. They had over 466 PGA Jr. League participants in 2024! It was also their fourth straight year to have the largest program in the Section.
