Roberson Claims Prize Possessions | E-Z-GO Eastern Championship
del Olmo Delivers in the Senior Division

RICHARDSON, Texas (June 16, 2026) – Corey Roberson, PGA director of golf at Lakewood Country Club, fired a bogey-free 33-33–66 in his Final Round to claim the Prize Possessions | E-Z-GO Eastern Championship. Rounds of 69-66–135, 9-under-par, gave Roberson a one-stroke victory.
Starting the day, Roberson was two shots back of the leaders. He knew low scores were out there if he took advantage of his opportunities. “I just tried to stay patient. I made a couple of birdies early to kind of get it going. It [his mindset] was just to play golf and have fun,” said Roberson.
Roberson had the same sentiment after his win back at the GT Golf Supply Pro-Pro Championship in March. Much of his attention since then has been focused on the renovations going on at Lakewood Country Club, and he added he has not been able to pick up a club as much as he may normally. “I just kind of came out with very low expectations, just play golf, enjoy it, and now I get to come home with a trophy,” added Roberson.
With two birdies in his final four holes, Roberson became the leader in the clubhouse with three groups behind him. His lead held, and he was crowned champion for the second time in four months.
Roberson takes home $4,500 and the first individual major of the Northern Texas PGA season.
In a closing statement, Roberson added, “We had a great golf course to play on. Ronny and his team do a great job here, so shoutout to them.”

In the Senior Division, Pablo del Olmo, PGA instructor at the PGA Coaching Center, carded a 4-under-par 68 today to win by two strokes. His rounds of 68-68–136, saw him finish the Championship at 8-under-par total.
del Olmo started the final round one shot back of the lead, but four birdies in his first six holes helped him move to the top of the leaderboard. “What works for me is I got to keep going. I can’t pump the brakes,” said del Olmo. An aggressive mindset led to 12 birdies and an eagle across both days. “I think my driving and tee distance is the strength of my game; I have a little advantage there, especially in the par 5s.” del Olmo finished the eight par 5s he faced in 7-under-par.
A timely birdie on the 17th hole secured the victory for the teaching professional. He added, “It’s so much fun to get your game a little bit more in order, and hit some good shots when you need to.” This is del Olmo’s second win in the Senior Division and his first this year.
del Olmo pocketed a $1,600 champion’s check for his efforts.
The field competed for an overall purse of $52,500.
