The Colony, TEXAS – The KBS TOUR Shafts Pro-Assistant Championship resulted in two champion teams as the event was shortened to two separate 18-hole competitions. The weather forecast called for thunderstorms throughout the morning, and the Rules Committee made the decision to shorten the event from 36 holes to 18 holes to ensure that the Championship would be completed.

The River Crest Country Club team of Reid Parrish, PGA head professional, and Nick Krsnak, assistant professional, fired a 7-under par 65 to capture the title on the Tribute Golf Links.
