Three-Way Tie Between Coughlan/Bingaman, Harris/Studebaker, and Sikes/McMillan for Lead After Round One of The Ratliff Group | O’Brien Architects Pro-Pro Championship

Choudrant, LA – The teams of Daniel Coughlan, PGA director of golf at Bent Tree Country Club & Brandon Bingaman, PGA assistant professional at Bent Tree Country Club, Keith Harris, PGA general manager at Cross Timbers Golf Course & David Studebaker, assistant professional at Cross Timbers Golf Course, and John Sikes, PGA director of golf at Hollytree Country Club & Stetson McMillan, teaching professional at John Sikes Golf Academy, lead the Open Division after round one of The Ratliff Group | O’Brien Architects Pro-Pro Championship. All three fired an opening six-under 66 for a two-shot cushion over the nearest teams. Sixteen teams are within 5 strokes of the lead heading into the final round on Tuesday.
The Senior Division is led by the team of Jim Henderson, PGA director of golf at Stevens Park Golf Course and Joel Edwards, PGA Life Member, also firing six-under 66 for a three-shot advantage heading into round two.
The four-ball, 36-hole stroke play Northern Texas PGA major championship features a field of 53 two-person teams composed of PGA Professionals and Associates competing at two courses over two days in both an Open and Senior division. Round one was contested at Squire Creek Country Club, a par 72, 7,002-yard facility located in Choudrant, Louisiana. Round two will take place at Pinecrest Country Club, a par 70, 6,513-yard facility in Longview, Texas.
The Open Division is competing for $28,550 of the overall $36,500 Championship purse.

GRAPEVINE, Texas – Registration is now open for the 2026 Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open and its qualifying events. The Championship will take place Wednesday, May 27, through Friday, May 29, at Grapevine Golf Course. This 46th year of the Championship marks another chapter in the event’s rich history, continuing its tradition as one of the premier women’s tournaments in Texas. The projected overall purse is $80,000. For the third consecutive year, Grapevine Golf Course will serve as host, reinforcing the City of Grapevine’s commitment to supporting and growing women’s golf. Known for its hospitality and spirited community, Grapevine looks forward to building on the success of previous Championships while delivering a first-class experience for players and spectators alike. The 2026 Championship continues its partnership with the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT). Thanks to the support of the ANNIKA WAPT, this Championship allows the top two finishers to receive exemptions into the Epson Tour’s Island Resort Championship, June 22–28 in Harris, Michigan. Additionally, ANNIKA WAPT members will earn points toward the Callaway Race to Q2, with all earnings counting toward the 2026 ANNIKA WAPT Official Money List. A total of 144 players will compete in a 54-hole stroke play format, with a cut to the low 50 players and ties after 36 holes. New for 2026, players shall gain access to compete in the Championship through qualifying events unless they are otherwise exempt.
