Gregory / Kern Capture the EPEC Pro-Pro Championship

Shreveport, LA – The team of Greg Gregory, PGA assistant professional at Hidden Creek Golf Course, and Benjamin Kern, head professional at Oeste Ranch Golf Course, captured the EPEC Pro-Pro Championship with a two round total of 65-65—130, 14-under par. Gregory and Kern began the day three shots back of the lead along with five other teams. They came out strong making two birdies in their first three holes. During the course of the day, they managed five more birdies including one on their final hole, which secured the victory. They took home crystal trophies and $1,750 each for the victory.

Four teams finished tied for second place at 12-under par, 132, two shots back of Gregory and Kern.

New to the Championship was the Senior Division that was comprised of 11 teams with participants aged 50 or older paired together. They were competing for a separate $5,200 purse and played at modified yardages. The team of Paul Earnest, PGA director of golf at Four Seasons Resort and Club, and Carl Worley, PGA head professional at Hide-A-Way Lake Golf Course, captured the Senior Division with a two-day total of 69-67—136, 8-under par. Each took home crystal trophies as well as $800 each for their win.

The four-ball stroke play Northern Texas PGA major championship featured a field of 59 two-man teams comprised of PGA professionals and apprentices who competed at Southern Trace Country Club, a par 72, 7,025-yard facility located in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Open Division competed for $22,800 of the $29,000 overall Championship purse.

The EPEC Pro-Pro Championship was presented by ACE Laminates of Texas, Inc., Adventures In Golf, AT&T Byron Nelson, Club Car, Columbia Golf, Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport, Golf ScoreCards, Inc., Lorente Golf and TCG Advisors.

GRAPEVINE, Texas – Registration is now open for the 2026 Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open and its qualifying events. The Championship will take place Wednesday, May 27, through Friday, May 29, at Grapevine Golf Course. This 46th year of the Championship marks another chapter in the event’s rich history, continuing its tradition as one of the premier women’s tournaments in Texas. The projected overall purse is $80,000. For the third consecutive year, Grapevine Golf Course will serve as host, reinforcing the City of Grapevine’s commitment to supporting and growing women’s golf. Known for its hospitality and spirited community, Grapevine looks forward to building on the success of previous Championships while delivering a first-class experience for players and spectators alike. The 2026 Championship continues its partnership with the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT). Thanks to the support of the ANNIKA WAPT, this Championship allows the top two finishers to receive exemptions into the Epson Tour’s Island Resort Championship, June 22–28 in Harris, Michigan. Additionally, ANNIKA WAPT members will earn points toward the Callaway Race to Q2, with all earnings counting toward the 2026 ANNIKA WAPT Official Money List. A total of 144 players will compete in a 54-hole stroke play format, with a cut to the low 50 players and ties after 36 holes. New for 2026, players shall gain access to compete in the Championship through qualifying events unless they are otherwise exempt.
